NOTE:Born in Newington, April 5, 1757, and died there Dec. 10, 1834. He was
a farmer, and lived across the road from his father's, in a house built for
him by his father. He was a man eminent for his piety, with which, perhaps,
was mingled a sense of quiet humor; for instance, it is said that he was accustomed
to read oftener than any other the Psalms which reiterates "For his mercy endureth
forever," Mercy being the name of his wife. Married July 16, 1778, Mercy Boardman,
daughter of Jonathan and Martha (Hurlbut) Boardman, Born in Rocky Hill, Conn.,
Aug. 2, 1757, and died Jan. 24, 1834.

to Mercy Boardman (daughter of Jonathan Boardman and Martha Hurlburt) in Jul
1778. Mercy Boardman was born on Aug 2 1757
in Rocky Hill, Ct. She died on Jan 24 1834. Samuel Churchill and Mercy Boardman
